Rules:
Day 1: Select 2 primary players for the first day and an alternate. All 3 players must be on different teams.
Day 2 and beyond: Select 1 primary and 1 alternate. Players may be on any team.
Your entry advances based on player statistics achieved:
To advance on Day 1, either or both of your primary players must achieve the required player statistic. To advance on Day 2 or beyond, your primary player must achieve the required player statistic.
Alternate players will automatically replace a primary pick if the primary player does not play. This swap occurs on completion of the alternate player's game. Once swapped, your alternate player is considered your primary player.
Once picked, you will be prevented from selecting that player again for the duration of the contest. However, unused alternate player picks and primary players are swapped out due to not playing will remain in your available player pool.
Winning the contest: The winner shall be the last remaining entry. If all remaining entrants are eliminated in the same slate, the contest will conclude and those eliminated entrants will be declared winners and split the prize in equal shares. Eliminations due to not having any remaining players to select in a slate are treated the same as making an incorrect pick. If multiple entrants survive through the final contest slate, all surviving entrants will be declared winners and split the prize in equal shares.
No tiebreakers. If multiple entrants are declared winners, they will split the prize in equal shares. If all entrants are eliminated during a double pick slate, they will split the prize in equal shares regardless of whether they got 0 or 1 picks correct or didn’t make a pick at all.
Extra lives. If the contest has extra lives enabled, an incorrect pick will result in a loss of one (1) entry life, which is denoted by the number of hearts remaining next to the entry name. Once an entry reaches zero lives, it will be eliminated. An entry cannot lose more than one (1) entry life per slate, even if the slate requires multiple correct picks to advance (e.g. double pick slates). Entries that survive through the end of the contests with more lives than others will not be awarded a tiebreaker over surviving entrants with fewer lives.
Player use limit. Depending on the limit set by the commissioner, entrants may select a player once, twice or three times at most throughout the contest. If the player use limit is “unlimited,” entrants may select a player as many times as they want throughout the contest.
Auto picks. If auto picks are enabled, entries that fail to enter a pick before the pick deadline for a slate will have a pick automatically made for them based on an auto pick strategy set by the entrant. The number of autopicks allowed for each entry is set by the commissioner.
Full/Partial Prize Split Available Certain contests may allow the remaining entrants to agree to a full or partial prize split if all of the following conditions are met:
All remaining entrants must unanimously agree to the proposed split. In the case of a partial prize split, entrants must also agree to continue playing until a single winner is determined. Unequal prize splits are not permitted under any circumstances.
A full prize split results in the contest ending immediately, with the total prize pool divided into equal shares among all remaining entrants, who will then be classified as winners. A partial prize split allocates one-half of the total prize pool in equal shares to the remaining entrants, while the other half is reserved for and awarded to the eventual winner of the contest.
Any remaining entrant may propose a full or partial prize split by contacting Splash Sports Customer Service at support@splashsports.com.
