Splash Sports NFL Survivor Contest Rules

Each player must choose one (1) NFL team each week of the NFL season and throughout the remainder of the NFL Regular Season. In certain contests, players may be required to make two (2) or more picks in certain weeks.

Picks are made “straight up” and not using a point spread system. If a player makes an incorrect pick, they shall be eliminated from the contest.  If a player’s pick(s) wins that week, that player shall advance and be eligible to make a pick (or picks) for the following week. Unless the contest rules state otherwise, a player may pick a team only once per contest.

Each NFL Week shall begin at kickoff of Thursday Night Football and run through the end of Monday Night Football or the last game of the week, whichever occurs later. Picks for each week must be made no later than 1:00 Eastern Time on Sundays (“Pick Deadline”).  Picks for earlier games must be made by the respective scheduled kickoff time.

Selections cannot be made or changed after 1:00 pm Eastern Time on Sundays. Any player who fails to enter picks before the pick deadline will result in a loss for the week and elimination from the contest. Any regular season NFL games that are postponed, rescheduled or “flexed” shall count towards the weekly contest corresponding to the regular season week in which they are played.  If the postponement of a regular season game that a player has picked as one of their weekly picks results in that game being played at a later date and as part of a different regular season week of games, that pick shall result in a loss for the player.

All contest picks will be hidden until the game has begun (for early games) or until the weekly pick deadline, after which all picks will be visible.

Players shall continue making their weekly pick(s) until they are eliminated.  The last player to remain alive (i.e. not eliminated) shall be the winner.  If no players remain alive at the conclusion of Week 18, then the winner shall be the last remaining player after Week 17, or the latest NFL week in which at least one (1) player remained alive.

.

If two or more players remain alive at the conclusion of Week 18, or remained alive at the conclusion of the last week of the contest should the contest not reach Week 18, those players shall be deemed the winners and will split any prizes pursuant to the Splash Sports tie breaker rules.

Splash Sports NFL PickX Rules

A PickX contest may last one NFL week, multiple NFL weeks, or for the duration of the 2023 NFL season.

In a weekly PickX contest, each player will be required to pick the outcome of all scheduled NFL games straight up (i.e. not against the spread) for that week.

In a season long PickX contest, each player will be required to pick the outcome of at least five (5) games for each NFL week straight up (i.e. not against the spread).

In a multi-week PickX contest, each player will be required to pick the outcome of at least eight (8) games for each NFL week straight up (i.e. not against the spread).

PickX contests with confidence points will further require each player to assign point values to all picked outcomes for each week of the contest.  The point values shall range from one (1) to the number corresponding with the total number of required picks per week.

Each NFL regular season week shall begin with the  kickoff of Thursday Night Football (or the kickoff of first scheduled game of the week) and run through the end of Monday Night Football or the last game of the week, whichever occurs later. All picks for each of the weekly NFL games must be made no later than 1:00 Eastern Time on Sundays (“Pick Deadline).  Picks for earlier games must be made by the respective scheduled kickoff time.

Selections cannot be made or changed after 1:00 pm Eastern Time on Sundays. Any player who fails to pick the outcome of the required number of games in any NFL week shall receive an automatic score of zero (0) points for all games not picked. Any regular season NFL game that is postponed, rescheduled or “flexed” shall count towards the NFL regular season week in which the game is played.  If the postponement of a regular season game that a player has picked results in that game being played at a later date and as part of a different regular season week of games, that pick shall result in no points for the player for that week.

One (1) point is awarded for each correct pick, for a maximum of 16 points each NFL regular season week. For PickX contests with confidence points, a successful pick shall result in an award of the assigned number of points for that pick.  The winning player is the player with the most cumulative points at the end of the contest period.

If there is a tie for any of the contest prizes, then any players tied shall split any prizes pursuant to the Splash Sports tie breaker rules.
