Malik Beasley - More Than 3.5 Made 3s

Detroit sharpshooter Malik Beasley has thrived in his first year with the Pistons, providing veteran leadership and reliable 3-point shooting to his new squad. He averaged 3.9 made 3s on 41.6% shooting from deep, making him a reliable threat from outside the arc. The shooting tear hasn’t stopped with the playoffs beginning, either, as Beasley knocked down 6 threes in Saturday’s loss against the Knicks. His projection for today’s matchup is set at 3.5, which he’s gone over in four of his last five games.

Nikola Jokic - More Than 1.5 Steals

There’s nothing on the basketball court that Nikola Jokic can’t do. Even with his reputation as one of the best, if not the best, players in the NBA, most don’t think of him as a steal artist comparable to Gary Payton or Dyson Daniels. But Jokic has been on a tear in the steals department, going over today’s projection of 1.5 steals in all five of his last five games.

James Harden - More Than 38.5 PRA

James Harden’s resurgence in Los Angeles has vaulted the Clippers into contention in the West. Even with a tough matchup in the first round against the Nuggets, Harden’s ability to stuff the stat sheet and score at will makes them an intriguing option to advance in the NBA Playoffs. With the ball in Harden’s hands for much of the games this season in LA, he’s been able to post some great PRA lines. Today’s projection of 38.5 PRA is one he’s gone over in all five of his last five games.

Luka Doncic - Less Than 8.5 Rebounds

Similar to James Harden, Luka was known in Dallas for being a stat-sheet stuffer. He’s nearly reached 100 career triple-doubles, showcasing his ability not just to score the ball but to find open teammates and crash the boards to ignite transition offense. On the Lakers, his role in rebounding basketball has diminished recently. His projection today is set at 8.5 rebounds, which he’s gone under in all five of his last five games, averaging just 5.4 rebounds in that time.

Jimmy Butler - More Than 23.5 Points

Jimmy Butler has been revitalized since being traded to the Golden State Warriors. Now playing alongside the greatest shooter in NBA history, defenses have focused less singularly on shutting him down and that’s allowed him more open looks and opportunities to score. His scoring numbers reflect this, and with his projection today set at 23.5, ‘more’ could be a pick to consider. He’s gone over that number in all five of his last five games.
