To qualify as a Sweepstakes Entrant, a user must create at least one PGA contest on SplashSports.com during the promotion period. The contest must begin on May 30, 2024, and the entry fee for the contest must be a minimum of twenty dollars (USD$20) per entry.
For every entry in the contest that the Sweepstakes Entrant creates, the Sweepstakes Entrant will receive one (1) entry into a drawing for a four thousand dollar (CAD$4,000) gift card to Cabot Cape Breton Resorts.
Please note: Neither this Contest, nor Splash Sports and its parent company(ies), subsidiaries or affiliates are in any way affiliated with Cabot Cape Breton Resorts.
If a contest is canceled, the user will not be eligible for the drawing.
This promotion is governed by the site Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and the Commissioner Rewards program (which includes other restrictions).
Eligibility
The Canadian Open Contest Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least eighteen (18) years old or the age of public contest or sweepstakes eligibility in their jurisdiction (whichever age is higher) at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Entrants are responsible for determining whether the Contest is legal and compliant with all regulations in the jurisdiction in which the entrant resides.
The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win a Prize: Employees, contractors, representatives, agents, directors, and officers of Certamen Games, LLC (“Sponsor”), their respective parent, subsidiary, or affiliated companies, marketing agencies, and any other parties involved in the administration of the Contest and each of the immediate family members of such excluded individuals (i.e., spouses, parents, children, and siblings and the “steps” of each); professional golfers, management and personnel, sports agents and their employees, tournament officials, and sports betting operators and their employees.
Alternate Method of Entry
United States residents may receive entry to the Sweepstakes by sending a request by email. Participants can receive free entry to the Sweepstakes by sending an email (Request) to support@splashsports.com.
Participants must:
1. Write “Canadian Open Contest Sweepstakes” in the Subject field.
2. Enter all of the following into the text of the email:
1. Their full name as shown on their government issued identification;
2. The return/residential address as shown on their government issued identification;
3. The email address registered to their splashsports.com account; and
4. The following statement:
“I wish to receive 1 Entry into the Canadian Open Contest Sweepstakes offered by Splash Sports. By submitting this request, I hereby declare that I have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Splash Sports Terms and the Sweepstakes Official Rules.”
The email Request must be received by Sponsor/Promoter on or before May 28, 2024, approximately two (2) days before the start of the games on May 30, 2024.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY AND NO ENTRY FEE, PAYMENT OR PROOF OF PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE.
Prize Selection
One (1) winner will be selected by random drawing. Splash will attempt to notify potential winners of all prizes by message sent to the email address or phone number provided in entry form no later than 6:00 pm Eastern Time on Friday,June 7, 2024. Potential winners who have not provided a correct email address or phone number during the creation of their SplashSports.com account may be disqualified and forfeit their Prize(s).
Winners are subject to verification, including verification of age and residency. Prizes are non-transferable and no Prize substitution is permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If a Prize cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute a Prize with one of comparable or greater value. The value of the Prize will be taxable to winners as income, to the extent taxes apply. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, local, or other applicable taxes associated with the acceptance and use of a Prize. All costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specifically provided herein are the responsibility of the winner.
Reservation of Rights
Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who is responsible for tampering with the entry process or otherwise acts in violation of these Official Rules. In addition, any attempt by an individual, whether or not an entrant, to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and diligently pursue all remedies against any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In the event that (i) any portion of the Contest is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, hackers or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupts, or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the game, (ii) any games are rescheduled or canceled, or (iii) any other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate all or part of the Contest.
Privacy
Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant’s participation in the Contest may be used by Contest Parties for the proper administration and fulfillment of the Contest, and may also be used to send marketing and promotional emails about the Contest Parties’ products and services to entrant pursuant to the Site’s Privacy Policy. Entrant may opt out of such emails at any time. Eligibility to participate in the Contest is not dependent upon entrant’s consent to receive emails and such consent will not affect entrant’s chances of winning. Sponsor shall have the right to post entrant’s picks along with entrant’s user name on the Site.
